I could start by telling
you about the day Andrew's mini van caught on
fire on the way to a show in rural Pennsylvania.
How about the time we were staying with Gary
from Noothgrush and I smoked
so much California chronic that Dave Witte called
me, "Corpselos." Or that our second
gig was on a bill opening for Man Is
The Bastard! Sure, these are the experiences
I'll never forget, but what made any of those
things possible was the racket we created in
our rehearsal room. Bands we idolized like Napalm
Death and Discharge
provided the inspiration. Did we unconsciously
lift a riff here and there? Probably, but it
goes to show that we had some killer taste!
We toured whenever we could get off of work.
We played with some of our heroes. We went to
places we never thought we'd see. Yes, that
includes the bathroom of Stalag 13.
But the most valuable thing we were left with
was the friends we made throughout that time.
The word "family" comes to mind.
So here we are some 8 years
later and a new CD. These songs span our existence.
We were around from 1996 to 1999. But a lot
these tracks were never released. Black
Army Jacket recorded a 7" for
the fine folks at Relapse
but we broke up before it was ever released.
This is the only place you can get these songs.
But it doesn't stop there people! We have also
included our original demo and other assorted
catastrophes. So sit back and enjoy the grind!
By the way, we didn't cancel that gig in Pennsylvania...
