Rising out of the ashes
of bands like Trilogy Of The Same Story, GoetzGeorge,
Fetz Braun, and many others, Basti, Zistl, Andreas,
Labse, Geudo and Stefan started in 2003 this atmospheric,
aggressive mixture called McCARTHY BLACKLIST.
As the roots of the band reach from Neurosis
to DK and from His Hero
Is Gone to The Van Pelt,
the music follows many directions and every song
is a new way to explore. After recording a demo-CD
the band played with Anodyne
in Munich. Mike liked the stuff and so the first
vinyl-release, a split-7" with Engineer
from Syracuse, became reality. Future plans are
writing some new songs, playing a lot of shows
and putting out another split 7" and an LP, maybe
in spring 2006.
